Duncan Leung (Leung Shiu Hung)

Born in Hong Kong on June 18, 1942. His Chinese name is Leung Shiu Hung.  In 1955 he was introduced by Bruce Lee to Wing Chun, and became the formal disciple of Grandmaster Yip Man, SiFu Leung spent many hours training with Yip Man over several years learning the Applied Wing Chun system, between 1955 and 1959. Including participating in many Gong Sao (challenge matches) between different schools in Hong Kong, testing and refining what was taught and learned.

In 1974, he moved to New York. and established his first Wing Chun School. In 1975, Duncan Leung's school was invited to participate in the Full Contact Free Fight Championships at the Madison Square Garden in New York. His students won every single category they participated in.

In 1976, SiFu Duncan Leung and his family moved to Virginia after an invitation by the United States authorities to teach at the Navy Base in Norfolk where he instructed the Seal Teams 2 and 4. He has also Instructed the FBI, Swat Teams, and other law enforcement.
